Lagrange is launching $LA—the native token for decentralized proof generation and key use-cases like verifiable AI.
The $LA token distribution will begin with an airdrop for the Lagrange community. Registration opens on May 28, 2025 and ends on June 2, 2025.
Ensure that you register for the $LA airdrop by June 2, 2025 to claim your stake in the proving economy—only eligible users who have registered between May 28 and June 2 will receive the community airdrop.
How to Register for the $LA Airdrop
If you’ve been a part of this collective journey towards verifiable AI through scalable ZK proofs, Lagrange welcomes you to register at register.lagrangefoundation.org and complete the following steps. Note that registration opens on May 28, 2025 at 12:00pm EDT and closes on June 02, 2025 at 12:00pm EDT.
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet or X Account
Visit the official $LA airdrop registration portal (ensure you’re on the correct website and manually inspect the hyperlink to avoid scams). This is not a sale or swap.
Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) OR your X account to the portal.
For EVM wallets: Select your wallet provider and approve the connection.
For X accounts: Log in and authorize the connection.
This step allows the portal to check your eligibility based on your wallet or X account activity.
Step 2: Check Your Eligibility
After connecting, click the “Next” button on the registration portal.
The portal will display whether you are eligible or not eligible for the $LA airdrop.
If you’re not eligible, you cannot proceed further.
If eligible, click “Next” to move to the next step.
Step 3: Provide Registration Details
For eligible participants, enter the following details:
Network: Choose the blockchain network on which you want to claim $LA tokens. The options are: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Scroll, Gnosis, Solana
Note: Participants can choose only one blockchain network while registering to claim $LA tokens.
Wallet Address: Provide the wallet address you’ll use to claim the tokens. Ensure this address is compatible with your chosen network (e.g., an Ethereum address for Ethereum or Base, a Solana address for Solana).
Double-check your wallet address for accuracy, as errors could result in lost tokens.
Submit the details to proceed.
Step 4: Initiate Identity Verification
A popup will appear with a “Verify Identity” button. Click it to start the identity verification process, which will use Privado ID. You must keep the $LA registration portal tab open throughout this verification process.
This will open a new tab on the Privado ID website (wallet.privado.id).
Important: Do not close the $LA registration portal tab while completing the verification.
Step 5: Sign In to Privado ID
On the Privado ID website, sign in using the EVM wallet.
Select your wallet provider and sign the message to authenticate.
This step links your wallet to Privado ID for the Proof of Uniqueness check.
Step 6: Complete the Proof of Uniqueness (PoU) Process
After signing in to the Privado ID web-wallet, follow these steps to complete the Proof of Uniqueness (PoU) verification:
If you don’t have a PoU credential:
Click to claim your Proof of Uniqueness (PoU) credential.
You’ll be redirected to a biometric verification provider.
Complete the face scan as prompted to verify your identity.
If you already have a PoU credential in your Privado ID web-wallet:
Click “Generate Proof” to use your existing PoU credential.
After successful verification, you should switch to the $LA registration portal.
Step 7: Return to the Registration Portal
After successful verification of the PoU credential, you’ll see a confirmation prompt.
Click “Confirm” to finalize the registration.
If the system detects multiple registrations from the same person, only the first registered account will be eligible for the airdrop. It is not possible to change your details after successfully registering.
If you’re verified as a unique human and haven’t registered before, your registration will be complete.
Step 8: Prepare for Token Generation Event (TGE)
Once registered, you’re set to claim $LA tokens during the Token Generation Event (TGE).
Monitor official Lagrange Foundation announcements (via their website, X account, and community channels) for details on the TGE date and claiming process.
Ensure your registered wallet is funded with enough gas fees for your chosen network (e.g., ETH for Ethereum, SOL for Solana) to cover the claim transaction.
What is the $LA Token?
$LA is the utility token of the Lagrange Prover Network (LPN), used for generating, verifying, and subsidizing decentralized proving activities. It will power use cases such as verifiable AI, ZK rollups, and modular execution layers.
